Common questions

What is free, and what is Pro?

Today's Name is always free, with its full card: the root, where it appears in the Quran, how the Prophet ﷺ lived it, the du'a, and every source. The dial, the list of all ninety-nine, the dhikr counter and today's journal page are free too. Pro opens any of the other ninety-eight Names whenever you want them, plus your Circle, memorising, your journal's history, and the widgets.

How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?

Open the paywall and tap Restore, or Settings then Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID that bought it.

How do I cancel?

iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Asma cannot cancel it for you; only Apple can. Cancelling during the seven day trial costs nothing.

I have a code.

Open Asma, go to Settings, and tap Redeem a code.

Where are my journal entries kept?

On your device only. They are included in an iCloud device backup if you have one, so a new phone restored from backup will have them. They are not synced between devices, and we cannot recover them if the device is lost.

I think a hadith or a verse is wrong.

Please tell us, and say which Name and which line. Every citation in the app was checked against the source text, and each card lists its sources so you can check too, but mistakes are possible and corrections are welcome.

Will there be an Android version?

Not yet.
